I have the same problem as SREEJITH UNNIMON. When I click outside the cell, everything gets to the initial color, ie, black!!

I'm not quite sure how this problem occurred. The font colors still exist when i click outside the cell. Do you mind attaching a screenshot or a sample file here?

HEY!! BUT ALL THE FONTS ARE DISPLAYED AS BLACK WHEN I CLICK OFF THE CELL....CAN SOMEONE HELP??

To see the adjusted color instead of the original black, ensure that the "Number Format" for the cell is set to "Text".

this does not work if it is a date, set the cell to text, will change the date to some numbers.

This isn't working for me. When i double click into a cell it won麓t let me change color. Only for one cell at a time.

Utter non sense. Why would I select each character when I can simply select the whole word in excel and change the color or font. Tools are supposed to make life easier not to complex the things. I was wondering that I can do it easily with the help of tools. There are more than 5 thousand cells for which I need to make the changes. There are three lines in a single cell and each line has different color. Do you want to select each character in more than 5 thousand cells?
